The Act of Re-dinnering

I thought I'd share that last night's dismally forgetful showing was completely rectified through tonight's re-dinnering. Re-dinnering (v. n.) - redeeming (or a redeemed) a screwed-up meal with the application of the previously forgotten original plan and the addition of a component that "takes it up a notch."
Synonym: "better leftovers".

I heated up the last slices of my incomplete pizza in a large non stick pan, warmed the stuffed red-pepper in the wave and quickly sauteed up an onion and a zucchini until brown. I plated the first two left-overs properly - with fresh basil on the pepper and garlic/bean dip on the pizza. The additional side of sweet brown zucchini and onions, I tossed with ground cayenne and chopped mint ... mmmm.
